Statement
Dr. Cody Goessl is a implementation scientist with research interests in health literacy, health disparities, diabetes prevention, lifestyle interventions and sports medicine. In October 2019, he was selected to serve as the first Frank R. and Betty J. Koller Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Population Health after completing his doctorate of philosophy in the Department of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Goessl has been involved with several projects examining chronic disease prevalence in health disparate populations and some of the largest digitally-based diabetes prevention trials ever conducted nationally.
