Marshfield Clinic Research Institute is holding two warm clothing drives through Oct. 29 to help local charities collect children's clothes for the upcoming winter months.

The Research Institute is looking for winter coats, hats, mittens, snow pants, boots and warm pajamas during the drive.

“We are proud to host these two clothing drives to help children in our local community," said Krystal Boese, assistant manager of research for the Integrated Research and Development Laboratory at the Research Institute. “During the COVID-19 pandemic, the need has never been greater to help those less fortunate."

Drop boxes are located in the Erdman Lobby and the Lawton reception area at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfiel​d. All cash or check donations can be routed to ML7 or mailed to Marshfield Medical Center (611 N Saint Joseph Ave., Marshfield, WI 54449) to the attention of Krystal Boese-ML7. Keep kids warm clothing drive

For this drive, the Research Institute is partnering with the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, Inc. to provide children with new winter coats, hats and mittens. They are looking for sizes 2T to adult 3X.

Monetary donations are also accepted via Stripe QR code, cash or check. Checks can be made out to Marshfield Area Community Foundation. Make sure to include in the memo line that the check is for Keep Kids Warm.

Best snow day clothing drive

The Research Institute will partner with Soup or Socks to provide children with new or gently used snow pants, new or gently used boots (size 3T-16) or new pajamas (size 3T-16).

Monetary donations are also accepted via PayPal (specify Best Snow Day on souporsocks.org), Venmo (search Soup or Socks Food Pantry, @souporsocks), cash or check. Checks can be made out to Soup or Socks.
