The Center for Clinical Epidemiology & Population Health (CCEPH) researchers Jeff VanWormer, Ed Belongia, Josh Petrie, Dave McClure, and Maria Sundaram participated in a collaborative Joint Research Day event supported by Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) on May 19, 2023. This event brought together researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) and the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute (MCRI) to learn about each others’ work and to discuss opportunities for collaboration. The day featured a number of presentations by MCRI and UW-Madison researchers, including presentations by Josh Petrie, on the PACC study cohort, and Maria Sundaram, on HPV vaccine hesitancy in young adults. The presentations elicited robust discussion and opportunities for new collaborations to form between MCRI and UW-Madison researchers with common interests.
